Sarat Kumar Lenka has passed Master in Arts , Ecology & Environment and Tourism Management and completed Ph. D in Business Administration also from Utkal University. During his 35 years of service career, he has undergone five international Management Development Program such as Advance Courses on Tourism from UNWTO, Spain, Alternative Tourism Planning from HHI, Cyprus, Planning and Management of Ecotourism from APO, Japan, Train Trainers from WFTG, London , Educating Educators from UNWTO, Spain and completed many more national level FDPs and MDPs at different national level institutions in India. Under his Supervision,Fourteen scholars have been awarded Ph.D Degree by different Universities. Forty five Research Papers have been published by him in various SCOPUS , UGC Care and Peer Reviewed national and International Journals. He has delivered more than One hundred twenty lectures as resource person in different national and international seminars and conferences. He has successfully completed seven Research projects of Government of India as Chief Investigator, some of them also have been implemented and now in operation. After 35 years of continuous service in different positions such as Lecturer, Reader. Associate Professor, Professor , Nodal Officer, Training Manager and Director in a National Institute of Government of India , he retired in May 2022 after attending the age of 60. At present he is associated with some national and international agencies as Tourism Planning Consultant.
